Well it’s been 24 hours since a massive winter storm in eastern canada dropped more then 40+cm of snow. Airports and all flights in and out of the Moncton, Halifax, and PEI were cancelled. When I arrived on Dec. 26, there was a light dusting of snow and you could still see grass for the most part. Now your lucky if you can see a fire hydrant with all the snow here.

All this snow has left me stranded at the airport. I traveled here on my family’s employee pass through Air Canada. This pass is standby which is which is great because its a cheap way to fly but it relies on there being empty seats on the flight.

Due to the winter storm here, there are 27 standby passengers, including myself.

After trying to get on the 11:45 and 12:25 flights to Toronto and Montreal respectively, I’m now trying for a 5:25 and 5:40pm. Next flight after that is 6am tomorrow morning, and it doesn;t look good either.

Oh well, anyway I have to go check on my flight.

Cheers
Callon
